Winter holiday: skiing in Val di Fassa

In winter the Val di Fassa ski resort becomes popular among snow lovers. The Hotel Gran Mugon is in the heart of Val di Fassa and the Dolomiti Superski area: for this reason we have the possibility to advise more expert skiers on a different ski area every day.

If you are just starting out you can't beat the two areas closest to us such as Catinaccio and Carezza. These are ideal for those who are learning to ski and above all for families.
Given that we have 5 ski instructors in the family we will be happy to give you some competent advice that is tailored made to suit your needs.
Furthermore for the families there is also a shuttle service to the Catinaccio area, free entrance to the Ciampedie children's play area .

Winter however is not just for skiers, in the valley there are several kilometres of cross-country trails and we have marvellous walks in Gardeccia and Fuciade as well as the valleys of San Nicolò, Mozoni and Duron, where you can find several refuges that are open.
